Compare batch 23 and batch 24 — what changed in the recipe?21 Aug 02:07
I have everything needed. Here's the comparison.

---

Batch 23 (a single run) and "Batch 24" (which in this drop is not one batch but six: A, B, C, CI, CR, CR2) share the same core four-ingredient recipe — Sun Surfol R-1400-, P-Pentaoxide, Epomine 018-, 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate — so the changes are in *scale/quantity* and *blend ratio*, plus process tweaks:

Quantities (Step-A resin build). Batch 23: Sun Surfol R-1400- 1010 g + P-Pentaoxide 47.16 g. Batch 24 B: R-1400- 112 g + P-Pentaoxide 4.5 g (a ~1:10 scale-down). Batch 24 CI: R-1400- 450 g + P-Pentaoxide 22.95 g. Epomine 018- (90 g) and 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate (210 g) are unchanged across 23, 24B, and 24CI.

Blend ratio in the final combine (Step C). Batch 23 mixed Step-B mass 20% : Step-A mass 80% at 55 °C. Batch 24 B and 24 CI shifted it to Step-B 15% : Step-A 85%.

Step-B (Epomine + acrylate) temperature. Batch 23 text notes "temp. 75 deg" (the structured step table lists 78–82 °C); Batch 24 B and 24 CI run "temp. 78 deg" — a small bump.

24-series additions: AV adjustment in the post-processing step — "AV adjusted to 39.8 (180 gm AV-46.6 + 37.3 gm R-1400 to AV-39.8)" in 24 C / CR / CR2 (CR2 targets AV-39.7); and pigment tests appear in 24 C ("Pigment Black, Red, Green, Blue – All properties good; Pigment Green/Violet – Strength / Gloss inferior" vs that day's standard).

Gap: Batch 24 A is a stub (no materials or step text extracted), so no recipe values can be compared for it. No dates are recorded for any 24 sub-batch.
