Only one batch has a *formal failed application test* citing gloss: Batch 66 — conclusion "Results: Not OK (Gloss and Re-solubility inferior)" vs reference standard BYK 9076 / Finalux 108. Measured: Gloss @ 60° 58.7 vs 66.4 reference (Violet 23 system); Violet 27 gloss was 9.3 vs 7.8 (above reference, not the failure). The report also lists inferior Transparency, Color Strength, Viscosity, and Re-solubility — so gloss was one of several failures [S 9076 #66 not ok.docx, page 1].

Two further batches show gloss problems only in Expt Table summary remarks (not outcome=not ok in the records):

• Batch 24 A: "Pigment Green- Strength / Gloss inferior; Pigment Black & Red- All properties good"
• Batch 24 B: "Pigment Green- Strength / Gloss inferior; Pigment Black, Red, Violet, Blue - All properties good"
• Batch 24 C: "Pigment Black, Red, Green, Blue - All properties good; Pigment Green/ Violet - Strength / Gloss inferior"

These remarks pair gloss with strength inferiority and are pigment-specific, not a whole-batch failure [28112025 9076 Expt Table 2025.xls, sheet 9076_Experiments, rows 101-105 (24A), rows 114-119 (24 C)].

Gaps / caveats:

• The unlinked sample record "S 9076" (STUB, outcome not ok, 04.05.2026) links to two failed reports: Batch 64 ("Not OK (Gloss and Re-solubility inferior)") and Batch 69 ("Not OK (Gloss and Colour strength inferior)") — but the records don't cleanly assign which report belongs to which stub, so these two gloss failures can't be attributed to specific batch records here.
• Other not-ok batches (40, 41, 63, 68) have no gloss-related failure text in the records.
